Namaste,

One of the oldest forms of therapy known and practiced world wide is massage.

Today massage is not only used to alleviate stress, but as well to assist the body to heal itself facing any ailments that may exist.

Unfortunately massage is often thought of as a luxury when in fact, regular massage is a necessary piece of your health and wellness program. It's my goal to bring the quality of a professional therapeutic massage to you at an affordable rate.

I am a licensed and nationally certified in therapeutic massage bodywork and a certified cupper, I always strive to give the maximum benefit possible from each and every session I give.

My specialty is Integrative Therapeutic Massage where I incorporate Shiatsu, Deep tissue, Swedish, MFR (Myofascial Release) Thai, Trigger Point Therapy and PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) Stretching all into one session geared towards individual client needs and client imbalances depending on whether your focus is relaxation, rehabilitation, maintenance or a combination of all of the above. I use both client goals and intuitive approach to implement effective treatments. I also work very intuitively letting my hands guide me.

I base my fundamentals of massage practice around the theory of Eastern medicine.  With its history of thousands of years is something completely different. While Western medicine mainly treats symptoms, Eastern medicine understands the body as an integrated whole and does not refer to the body being with disease but rather the body being at “dis-ease”. This is seen as an imbalance within the body. As all parts of the body are linked in subtle ways, by treating patients, Eastern medicine restores balance between the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Also, Eastern medicine sees each patient as having his or her unique pattern of symptoms that form a syndrome or pattern of imbalance. This approach gives each patient a individual treatment/approach.

Traditional eastern medicine sees the human body as the result of yin and yang. While yin is the inner, negative principle, yang is the outer, positive one. A person gets sick whenever the two aspects lose their harmony.

Welcome to the beginning of your resurrection and congratulations on making the first step on your path to healing!

Om Shanti
